Denise Spadafora Boudreaux

Denise Spadafora Boudreaux entered into Eternal Rest on August 20, 2018, born November 1916. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Spadafora Sr. and Denise Dufrechou Spadafora, her brother, Joseph Spadafora Jr. (Lucille), her sister, Shirley Spadafora Messina (John), and her husband Harold A. Boudreaux. She is survived by her sister, Francis Spadafora DeBroy (Bat), her daughter, Denise Boudreaux Robinson Daspit (Arthur), grandson, Keith Robinson (Micheline), and great grandson, Ethan Joseph Robinson. She worked for the Orleans Parish School Board as secretary at both Capdau and Gregory Junior High Schools and retired after 23 years of service. After Katrina she moved from her home in Gentilly to her second home in Big Branch where she enjoyed her gardens and friends on the north shore, she was a member of Our Lady of The Lake Parish. She looked forward to playing cards with her friends for many years. In lieu of flowers a donation to ALS in memory of her Godson, Johnny Messina.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 12 noon. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park.
