Dennis Brand

Dennis Patrick "Denny" Brand, 70, passed away on February 13, 2025, at his home with his beloved cat Millie in New Holstein, Wisconsin.

Born on May 19, 1954, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Harold and Agnes (Noel) Brand. Dennis graduated from Elkhart Lake High School as part of the Class of 1972 before proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1972 to 1974 at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, California.

On February 21, 1976 Dennis married the love of his life Caroline Binversie of New Holstein, WI.

Following his marriage and military service, Dennis built a long and dedicated career with Kohler Company, where he worked from 1977 until his retirement in 2016. His strong work ethic was evident throughout his nearly four decades with the company.

Dennis had a passion for music and was an avid guitar player. Whether playing for friends and family or just listening, music was a source of joy and expression for him. Dennis had a unique style of singing and often sang to his children and grandchildren. He also loved fishing-a pastime that brought him peace and cherished moments spent outdoors especially with his late son Andrew. A highlight for Dennis was in 2021 when he traveled to Alaska with his family.

Dennis will be deeply missed by those who knew him. He is survived by his daughters Angela (Thomas) Brand of Baileys Harbor. Amy (Quinn) Madigan of New Holstein; his siblings Michael (Jane) Brand, Donna Brand, and Judith (Paul) Brand of Minneapolis; daughter-in-law Kimberly Brand of Forest Junction; grandchildren Caitlin Tuczynski of Kiel, Logan Brand of Forest Junction, McKenna (Eric) Madigan of Sheboygan Falls, Owen Dannhausen of Baileys Harbor, Aiden Madigan of New Holstein and Ariah Brand of Forest Junction and one great granddaughter Avery Grauman. Dennis is further survived by many other loving nieces, nephews and family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Caroline Brand; his son Andrew Brand; his parents Harold and Agnes Brand; and his brother Mark Brand.

Dennis will be remembered as a loving, funny, and thoughtful man who cared deeply for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

The family would like to give a special thank you to his close neighbors who always looked out for him.

A celebration of life for Dennis will take place at a later date.
