Dennis HUBER Obituary
February 25, 1941 – November 20, 2017
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Dennis F. Huber on November 20, 2017 in Kelowna, BC after a brave battle with cancer. Left behind to cherish his life that ended too soon are his loving wife Elly of 53 years; and his beloved children, daughter Angie - Kelowna, son Dean (Rouillanda) – Ft. McMurray, his two precious granddaughters that he loved more than anything, Lauren and Jaiden Huber, daughter Crystal (Mike) Shiskin – Victoria, BC. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Marge (Don) Steidl, his sister Shirl (Gary) Long, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Fred and Beatrice Huber of Regina, SK, and in-laws Casey and Mary Bohn of Southey, SK. Dennis enjoyed spending time golfing, playing ball, and watching sports on television. He was a Saskatchewan Roughrider fan until the end. The family would like to thank Dr. Jennifer Dicus, all the doctors and nurses at KGH 4th Floor, and the staff and volunteers at Kelowna Hospice for his great care. At Dennis's request, there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Okanagan Hospice House - 2035 Ethel St., Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z5.
