Carolyn & Family, so sorry for your loss. May time and loving memories help comfort you. I will always remember your brothers fondly from when we first met and then became lifelong friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love you. Paula

From the time I first met him as a fellow Mullen Mustang, continuing through our high school years when we worked together at the Denver Country Club, and through our ongoing professional relationship at the Dove restaurant, Dennis was a fiercely loyal friend.
In years between then and now, we kept in touch through Brein, his brother, with whom I worked with at Deno´s Mountain Bistro in Winter Park. After Brein passed, we stayed in touch more often.
I´ll always have a picture of him in my mind´s eye standing next to his brand new blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo, looking a lot like Steve McQueen.
We became closer in the last few years, mostly being text pals and meeting now and then.
I had lunch with him at Sam´s #3 on Thursday the 6th of March. He was struggling a bit but was indomitable as ever. He spoke of his family and grandkids and looking forward to seeing them the following week.
We planned on meeting up the following Tuesday. It was not to be. He left that evening for the ethereal plain, and on his own terms, in his favorite chair.
I would expect nothing less.
Farewell, my complex friend, and find the peace you strived for, that you deserve, forevermore. I miss you so much.
