A celebration of life for Dennis Clay Woodall, 58, of Bonham, Texas, is to be held over Memorial Day weekend in Somerset, Ky.Dennis passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Presbyterian Medical Center in Plano, Texas.Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home of Bonham is in charge of arrangements in Texas.Dennis Clay Woodall was born in Somerset, Ky., on Aug. 15, 1951, to parents Clinton and Irma Phelps Woodall. He married Pamela Kay Waltz on Sept. 12, 1982, in Wichita Falls. Dennis was employed as a Sr. Technical Instructor with Ericsson Telecommunication, and served in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years, retiring as Chief Master Sergeant.He is survived by his wife, Pam Woodall of Bonham; a son, Jody Woodall; a son, Brett Woodall; a daughter, April Notter of Stauton, Ill.; a son, Jeremiah (and Emerald) Dodds of Bonham, Texas; grandsons, Devan Pittman, Evan Notter, and Angel Mayhue; siblings Janice Dodson of Somerset, Ky., Sandra (and John) Johnson of Sunman, Ind., Dewitt (and Margie) Woodall of Somerset, Ky., Phillip (and Gloria) Woodall of Somerset, Ky., Kevin Woodall of Somerset, Ky., Sue (and Roy) Pike of Danville, Ky, Rhonda Crowe of Evansville, Ind., Richard (and Loretta) Woodall of Bellville, Fla.; and Dennis' best friend, Kevin Grover, of Allen.He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Lee Shawn Pittman.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 4324 N.
