Diane Petter Obituary
Diane Margaret Petter, age 81, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025. Born on November 11, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, Diane was the beloved daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Kasinec and the cherished wife of Howard Petter.
She was preceded in death by her dear brother Jerry Kasinec, sister Patricia Haezebrouck, and brother-in-law Maurice Haezebrouck. In recent years, Diane was blessed with a heartfelt reunion with her daughter Maureen Whitten and grandson Mitchell before Howard's passing.
Diane was a devoted mother to her son Daniel and daughter Suzanne, and a loving aunt, cousin, and treasured friend to many. Her warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her. Diane was truly a ray of sunshine in our lives, and her light will continue to shine in our hearts forever.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Rd., Farmington, MI 48336. The Rosary will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the guest hall, with Mass commencing at 11:00 a.m.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Her friends from her summer 8am weekday mass at St. John Davison will really miss this BEAUTIFUL person. She always had a smile and a cheerful upbeat personality. She loved her faith very much and the Eucharist. There was a group of 4 of her friends here that had all the intentions to come and send our friend off and give our condolences. We unfortunately got stuck in Flint on the expressway because it had flooded from the rains for about an hour. Prayers for her family and for Diane's soul.
