Dolores Bohmler Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 13, 2025.
Dolores Bohmler passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025 at her home in Fountain Hills, AZ. Dolores was born in Borger, Texas, and when two years old, moved with her parents to Galveston County. She grew up in LaMarque, then moved to Dickinson, before retiring in League City.

Dolores is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Robert Bohmler, and her sons, Craig and Rusty of Scottsdale, AZ, sister-in-law Mavis Conner of Friendswood, Texas, nephew Sean Conner, a large, extended family and close friends. She looked forward to being reunited with her parents, Thelma Wynne and Albert Conner. She was fortunate in her childhood to be close to her grandparents and parents, her brother, and her aunts, uncles and cousins.

After initial employment with American Oil Company, where she worked with her father, she later became a career banker. A happy and memorable time for her was when she attended Alvin Community College with her mother, husband, and several neighbors and then later graduated from the University of Houston.

Her retirement was filled with love and laughter, interesting travels, time with friends, family and neighbors. She particularly enjoyed her vacation homes in Tiki Island, then later in the Eagle Mountain Community of Fountain Hills, AZ. She was an enthusiastic supporter of Craig and Rusty's musical and acting careers, and was fortunate to travel extensively to enjoy performances of their plays, operas, musicals and concerts.

Her family is honoring her request not to have a public service in her behalf, and invites those who knew her to simply remember her, and the times they spent together, fondly.
