Dolores A. Shankweiler 93, of North Catasauqua formerly residing at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek in Northampton passed away peacefully on Saturday July 10, 2021, at LVHN-Muhlenberg. She was the loving wife of Raymond G. Shankweiler for 53 years prior to his passing on March 22, 2006. Born in McAdoo, Dolores was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Brown) Gallagher. In their early married years, Dolores stayed home and raised her three children. Prior to retiring in 1989, she worked for the former Penn Linen and Uniform Supply for over 15 years. Surviving are her children: Raymond J. and his wife Angelika of Catasauqua. Christine M. wife of Matthew Matsinko of Bath and Lois M. wife of Allen Schaffer of Danielsville. Grandchildren: Timothy and wife Meghan, Melissa and Andrew. Great Granddaughters: Zoey and Rosalyn. Dolores was predeceased by her 10 siblings. Services will be 11:00AM Thursday July 15, 2021 in the O'Donnell Funeral Home 1064 Fifth St. N.Catasauqua PA 18032. Calling will be from 10-11AM in the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions made to a charity of your choice.
