Donald Anthony DeVite, 55, of Parma, Ohio, died Dec. 17, 2007.He was the beloved husband of the former Carol J. Mashenic; devoted father of Kenneth S. Fitzgerald, Amy DeVite, Jennifer, Benjamin, Brittany, Brandon and Cassandra Fitzgerald, and John and Dominick A. DeVite; loving son of the late Frank and Isabella Devite; dear brother of Raymond, Frank, Ronald and Richard DeVite; and dear uncle.He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam era.Friends may call at Rybicki and Son, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, 7906 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, for visiting hours 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Friday at St. James the Apostle Church, New Bedford. The Donald DeVite Family; I was shocked to learn of Don's passing. I just had lunch with him on Thursday at our softball meeting. We enjoyed playing softball together. I'm am so sorry I was unable to pay my respects personnaly. I had rotor cuff surgery last friday.May Christ comfort you in your time of greive. Don Lange

Don and I were inseperable during our boyhood years and into young adulthood.
