RANSOM _ Donald J. 1924 - 2007 Donald Jay Ransom of Nanton passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on February 5, 2007 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; son Glen (Leona) Ransom; daughters, Debra (Charlie) Eld, Kellie Ransom (Stan Sjogren); grandchildren, Tasha (Karl) Smith, Tawnya Ransom (Curt), Mike (Carla) Ransom, Tarah Ransom (Hans), Landon Sjogren, Shane Sjogren; along with great-grandchildren, Larah and Morgan Smith and Kailyn Kent. Don is also survived by his sisters, Dorothy Young and Lorraine Cram. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Ransom and brother Glen (overseas). Don was a Life Member of the Nanton Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 80. A Memorial Service will be held at the Nanton Community Centre on Friday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Enfield officiating.
