Donna Artman

Donna Jean Artman (n�e Dunhour), born on May 14, 1953, in Wildwood, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, on June 7, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 72 years old.

A proud graduate of Wildwood High School's Class of 1971, Donna carried the spirit of her coastal hometown with her throughout her life. Her journey took her from the shores of New Jersey to new chapters in Virginia and Indiana before she ultimately found a place of peace and belonging in the high desert beauty of New Mexico. It was there that she built a life with her beloved husband, David Artman.

Donna's life was marked by resilience and devotion. She faced profound loss with grace, including the passing of her infant son Sean Gallagher, her husband Thomas R. Gallagher, and later her husband David. Through it all, she remained a source of strength and love for those around her.

She is survived by her daughter Lynea Gallagher of Houston, Texas, and her son Douglas Gallagher of Villas, New Jersey. Donna also leaves behind a close-knit family of siblings: M. Susan Dunhour; Diane Wieland and her husband Charles; Debra Dunhour; Frederick Dunhour; and Douglas Dunhour and his wife Judith, and several nieces and nephews.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Thelma Dunhour, whose values helped shape the woman she became. She is also predeceased by siblings, Sandra McQuillan, Harold Dunhour, Barbara Ayers, Marian Bowen, and Joseph Dunhour, Jr.
