Donna was a loving, kind-hearted woman, with a zest for life. Donna began her career at USAirways in Crystal City and worked her way up to station manager at Norfolk International Airport where she remained until her retirement in 2015. She also enjoyed traveling the world with her significant other, friends, and family. She was full of fun and considerate of the needs of others. Donna was the type who could walk into a room full of strangers and her energy would light up the room and she would leave having made new friends. She loved music and singing (even though she always sang the wrong words), dancing, loved to make people laugh and always had a smile on her face. She was loved by many and to know her was to love her. To Donna, family was everything, she was a devoted mother to her 2 children, Aftyn and Derek, who she loved more than life itself. She left so many beautiful memories for them to cherish forever.
Donna departed life on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at VCU medical center in Richmond, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, Abraham Mcelveen, and mother, Olive Mcelveen.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her significant other Terrence Willingham, daughter aftyn Crowe, son Derek Spivey, brother Daniel Hannon, sister Gail Hill, soon-to-be grandchild Donovan Paul Spivey, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends. Viewing will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 5 pm- 8 pm at Nickelson-Cummings F.H. A Memorial Service will be held February 10, 2023 at 11 am Queen Street Baptist North Worship Center 98 N Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA 23669

There are not enough words in existence to capture the heartbreak of your passing dear Donna.
I will forever remember how welcoming you were even though we arrived unannounced. So much fun and oh my goodness the breakfast you prepared! Wow!
My heartfelt condolences to your beautiful children. My prayer filled hugs and continuous blessings of comfort to your significant other of so many years, Terry. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.
There are not enough words.
May your bright light and smile send rays of comfort to the shattered pieces of those left behind.
Rest In Peace. Rest in Light.
Dear Donna.

She was a one -in -a -million, unique personality whose frank, often unfiltered conversations were a refreshing breeze in my day. My sadness at her passing is beyond words. May she Rest In Peace with the others of the Clark clan who have gone before.
