Dottie will be gretaly missed. I had the pleasure of knowing her for a short while, but it seemed as if it were forever. I cared for her at the Memory Support Center and have many fond memories but, by far my fondest memory of her was the time we spent at Evans Lake with the family. We had a blast and I was introduced to some healthly food that I may have NEVER tried:)May GOD bless and keep you all at your time of sorrow!!

I knew Dottie from both Public Health at the County and Holy Cross Episcopal Church. What a wonderful Public Health Nurse and Christian she was. She was always upbeat and helpful and kind. She did so much for so many people such as the families she worked with as well as Nursing students she worked with. She will be sorely missed. Good thoughts and prayers to the family.
Peace.

Aunt Dottie was my godmother and I will miss her very much. I have so many fond memories of our visit to Michigan all those years ago. I am grateful my daughters got to meet her a few years back. I know my mother would be heartbroken to hear of her passing. Much love to Uncle Bill, Susan, Rob and Peggy.

Mrs. Crim was just the dearest lady I have ever had the privalage to know. I went to school with her daughter Peggy. The crims house was always open to all of Maggies friends even if she wasn't there. My fondest memory of Mrs Crim was the night she told the gang taht she despised the pink plastic lawn flamingos, so the next morning she woke up to a yard full of them. God truly Blessed all of of us with having you as our friend. I will truly miss you.

Dottie and I worked together for many years at the Health Department. We started on the same day. I'll always remember Dottie's strength as a person, her advocacy for those less fortunate and her "Getting to Yes" negotiating philosophy.

Dottie was a long time, valuable member of Board of Directors of the Episcopal Hospital Chaplaincy Progam, ministering to patients at our local hospitals. She was a dedicated nurse and brought compassion to the suffering. There is a special place of honor for her in Heaven.

Dottie was someone I always considered a mentor, someone I wanted to be like as a nurse. As nurse I saw her name everywhere from nursing policy to the Michigan Nurses Association. Dottie was a kind and gentle person...I was lucky to finally meet her.

So many memories...as a child in Birmingham, Dottie was always there, and helped me earn Girl Scout badges. When I was adult, she sent a card that said "WOW" when we adopted our son. Lake Angelus, Saline... I will miss her very much.

My husband Ron and I were members of Holy Cross with Dottie and Bill; we have many fond memories, including leading some retreats for the junior high youth with her. We were thrilled when she agreed to be Godmother to our first child. She was a calm and steadfast friend to my family. We will miss her, and cherish the past good times.
