Douglas Sanger Obituary
Dougie's work history includes roles at UBS, Hilser as an electrician, and as a school bus driver in Hyde Park, NY, and Raleigh, NC. After moving to Tennessee, he worked at Barrett Co. and was employed by Unaka Company at the time of his passing.
He was deeply loved by his siblings: Dorothy Sanger (Norwich, NY), Deb Raimondo (Raleigh, NC), Bud Sanger and his wife Sharon (Red Hook, NY), and Dennis Sanger and his wife Carol Barrance (Saugerties, NY), as well as by his nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Dorothy (Chase), Chris (Megan), and Alexandra (Rory).
Dougie will be deeply missed by his close friends Mike Wolff, Karen Link, Kathleen Ward, Tim Hart, Fred Bier and Preston Moore. He cherished the new friendships he formed after moving to Tennessee, especially with Marjorie, Susan, Summer, and Bruce.
His kindness, sense of humor, and genuine presence touched the lives of all who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed. We can only imagine Nana's surprise to see her youngest arrive first in heaven, but we know she rejoiced to be reunited with her favorite once more.
