In 2007, Dr. Brad gave our family hope when few could. His treatments, advice and caring spurred us toward bravery in seeking alternative healthy solutions and methods for the toddler we loved that had Autism. Bless always, Dr. Brad and his family that will stay in our families prayers.

Dear Jennifer,

Please, accept my deep condolence. It seems, that meeting Jeff was your major luck and so immense is the loss.

Jeff was the person with independent mind, professional responsibility, acute sense of new promising ways in medicine.

His wise leadership and professional protection was very important for the parents of his patients in very complicated life and medical problems. From him it demanded a deep knowledge, high personal courage and grounded self-confidence to guard them from misleading of dubious beliefs and simple solutions.

We had only several substantial conversations with him, though he was often in my mind during last years. These mourning days I return to his last words in his last post about treatment of autistic children and EmCell:

In summary, Stem Cells are an important part of the ongoing efforts of many clinicians and scientists to help children with autism. Ultimately, I would like to see these biopharmacies harnessed and their chemistry exploited, but we are likely years to decades away from that happening. In meantime, experienced centers like EmCell deserve consideration and I look forward to furthering our collaborations. And despite all the Western media concerns, Kiev is doing well. Patients who have been there recently report back that the conditions are safe and stable. May 30, 2015.

This testimony and testament will be inspiration for us in further research on treatment of children suffering from autism.

Please, always count on our support.

Prof. Alexey Karpenko, co-founder of EmCell, www.emcell-international.net.

we were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet Dr Bradstreet through a friend and he changed our lives, by giving us hope and helping our son. We cannot thank him enough for giving us the strength to carry on and by always being so positive about our child. My boy has done brilliantly under his treatment. It is such a big loss to all the families he helped and I am sure he was a blessing to us and the many families. Rest in peace Dr Bradstreet and my heartfelt sympathy to his family.

Without the guidance and expertise that Dr. Bradstreet so willingly shared, we would never have found the testing and treatment to help our beautiful vaccine injured child. The light and hope that he gave in this realm will surely be magnified in the next. Please know that you are held in love and prayer.

It is hard to even come up with words to say how devastating of a loss this is to so many. I was referred to Dr. Bradstreet through a friend, and from the first time we met him, he made an immediate impact on our son, John. He knew about things to try that nobody else did, and these seemingly benign things like regular OTC supplements made a tremendous difference in his life. I am so taken aback and saddened that the journey we have been on with Dr. Bradstreet has now reached a sudden end and for us and others, I pray not the end of our only hope, as it seems. He was a wonderful, generous, thoughtful and caring man and genuinely invested in seeing the progress of our child become a reality. For the family and friends of our beloved and trusted expert, I am so sorry for the tragic loss of this amazing and selfless man who gave to so many. For the patients and parents who trusted Dr. Bradstreet with our family members and precious loved ones, we now have a gap that seems impossible to fill. God bless you Jeff Bradstreet for your amazing contributions. I can only hope others will be as brave as you and press forward in your absence. You will be missed greatly.

Dr.Bradstreet was our daughter's physician helping her with ME/CFS. He was the first physician to recognize that something other than what mainstream medicine/ psych doctors were telling us. He was the most compassionate, understanding, reassuring and thoughtful man/ physician we had encountered, giving our daughter hope when she had none. He told her she was "going to be alright." What a comfort to hear those words when everyone else seemed detached and "bored" with their profession. We are completely heartbroken over his untimely death and send our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family for strength and courage to fight the good fight and never give up honoring his legacy.

I first met Dr.Bradstreet 10 years ago at the Autism One conference. My son was 12 and I felt as though I had waited too long to seek the treatment that he needed. He listened, gave me his card and said call the office and I will help you. We made several trips to Florida and he was true to his word. He was beyond generous. I will always be so grateful to him. At 22 my son will still say things like " I can't have ice cream, Dr. Bradstreet says no". I last saw him in Chicago 2 years ago and he was so truly interested in Alexander's progress and excited to share his most recent thoughts about what might help him. I can hardly believe that I will not have the opportunity to see him again. I am so saddened by this loss and so heartbroken for his family and all that love him. The Autism community has lost a champion. He will be missed.

James Jeffrey Bradstreet, MD should be remembered for his heroism, intellectual honesty and indefatigable care in the treatment of autism.

I am a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at a large university hospital and I have rarely met a physician so dedicated and true. Over the last three years, I have personally been involved with autism. I am new to the autism world.

Dr. Bradstreet pursued translational treatments from basic research. He brought hope and sanity to an insane disease.

Jenn, Carter and I will sorely miss him and his sage advice. May his soul rest in heaven and may his family be comforted in the knowledge that he accomplished so much in such a short life and that the seeds he has planted will grow for decades, if not longer.

Scott and I join the thousands of others in mourning Jeff: the man, friend, scientist and gifted doctor. We are so sad over losing such a thoughtful, caring and effective clinician in the autism world and devastated that our son has lost his physician. But my heart is breaking mostly for those who closely shared his life. Because Jeff was more than just a gifted doctor, I know he was a loving father, husband and friend.

Jeff was Jackson's doctor for years. I sit here with regret, wishing I had asked him more questions and picked his intelligent brain for more clues and ways to help our son. But like so many others, I thought Jeff's gift of being here on Earth with us would last forever.

I first met Jeff back in 2000. I had heard him speak at a couple of the early DAN conferences and was wondering how I could possibly endure the long trip to Florida to get my son into see this fabulous doctor when, as luck would have it, I finally met him when he testified during one of the Congressional Hearings. That day we planned Jackson's first office visit. I'm convinced that that day, and all the days since, Jeff battled the medical conditions of autism with steadfast passion. I don't know how he did it. But he did. So many parents, children and research papers stand as proof.

I've always heard that sometimes a bright light burns out more quickly than the rest. If that is true, then I think that is what happened to Jeff. I'm so sorry that he died so young and that we lost someone so special to our family and to the autism community. It is devastating for us all. His precious life touched so many. I'm sending his family our thoughts and prayers in hopes they provide comfort during what I know will be a hard time for them all.

June 22, 2015

Our family's first foray into medical intervention for our son with autism was at a small office in a strip mall in Melbourne, Florida in the late 1990's. There, Drs. Bradstreet and Kartzinel set up shop to help children on the autism spectrum. I remember these great tapestries on the walls with Jesus walking with children. ...not what you'd generally see in a doctor's office. And, the vibe was so caring and concerned. Our doctor was Dr. K, but Dr. B also stuck his head in to say hello to my son and me. And, we interacted with him on many occasions and at autism conferences. His work had a profound impact on my son's recovery. We are so saddened by the news of Dr. Bradstreet's passing. Words simply can't express....

We were RESTING at the beach in TX, and wish you A PEACFUL FINAL REST. God bless you!
