THOMAS, Ms. Ebony Shonique-age 47, of Flint, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, January 19, 2021 with a 10:30am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507. Pastor Ronald P. Roland officiating. Calling hours are 1:00pm - 6:00pm Monday, January 18, 2021 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel. The final resting place for Ms. Thomas will be Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint, MI.
Ms. Ebony Shonique Thomas was born September 15, 1973 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Coleen Carlysle and Maurice Conner.
Ms. Ebony Shonique Thomas leaves to cherish her memory: son, Omar V. Thomas of Flint; daughter, ZsaKeyriah T. Ashford of Flint; step-son, Cyrus (Keana) Robinson of Flint; grandchildren, Kaison D'Air Leonard, Omar V. Thomas, Jr., Cyrus Jr., Jaidyn, Arianna and Traciana Robinson; father, Maurice A. Conner formerly of Flint; mother, Coleen B. Carlysle of Flint; brother, Sammy Robinson; 2 sisters, Josette A. Thomas of Flint and Evones S. Thomas-Gant of Flint; godsisters, Zsa Zsa McNeal and ShaDonna McCoy of TX; 3 godchildren, Cazmeree Sebok, Luella Edwards and Christie Snell; 3 nephews, DaCoreean, Genovus and Oscar; nieces, Tyteana, Janasia, LeeAjiah, JourNeé, Koesha, Tamika, Kashia, Tasharee, Amariye, Myciana and Gianna; uncle, Samuel J. Thomas; aunts, Silena J. Thomas and Lenora Thomas; cousins, Michelle Patrick, Shantania Orr, Jannean Orr, Shurman Orr II, Ricky Orr, Anthony Patrick, Jr., Dalis, DaShonda, Dustin, Delon, Debony, and Deveion Thomas; a host of other relatives and friends including fiancé, Keyland Ashford, and friends, Loretta Rankin, Donna Willingham, Tamiko Wells, Azhane Thompson, and Luella Edwards.
Ms. Ebony Shonique Thomas was preceded in death by: son, Keyland Ashford II; daughter, Kanasha Thomas; grandparents, James and Bettie Thomas; aunt, Gail A. Roland; uncles, Fred Thomas and Eric Thomas.
