Eddie Anderson

Eddie Lynn Anderson of Sunbright, son of James Leonard Anderson and Evelyn Lillian Scarborough Anderson of Alcoa, went to be in the presence of the Lord at 3:05 a.m., Feb. 6, 2014 at Methodist Medical Center.
Eddie, born April 10, 1944, sixty nine years young, fought the battle of cancer, was healed of cancer, got a broken back the summer of 2012 then cancer again, winning the victory over death peacefully went to sleep in Jesus arms.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Missionary Wilda Anderson of Sunbright, three children, a daughter, Ms. Angel Suttle and son-in-law David Suttle of Kingston, oldest son, Dillen Anderson of Sunbright and Anthony Anderson youngest son and wife Vonie Anderson of Coalfield; five grandchildren, Christopher Eddie Allen Morris and granddaughter, Megan Lindsay Angel Morris of Lenior City, Shane Anthony Anderson, Gabrella Anderson and Makella Mae Anderson of Coalfield; brother, Douglas Anderson of Claxton; three nephews, Bobby Anderson, Doug Anderson Jr. and Michael Anderson all of Claxton; a host of friends, relatives and loved ones.
Eddie Lynn Anderson was preceded in death by his brothers, James (Jimbo) Anderson and George Ernest Anderson of Claxton; two uncles, George Anderson of Clinton and Clifford Anderson of Knoxville; aunt, Mrs Ola Anderson of Claxton.
In Eddie's languishing battle of a broken back and later cancer, he saw death swallowed up in victory of Jesus's Compassion, Mercy and Grace. Daddy, you are beautiful and loving as we watched Jesus translate you into his holiness. You promised to meet us at Heaven's gate waiting to meet us again. We thank Jesus for his Love, Grace, and Mercy he showed you and us, Dad. Jesus told mother on February 5, 2014 he would show you his Salvation, Psalm 91:14. You Jesus Christ, Son of the Living won the Victory over death, hell and the grave and Eddie has too! We love you dad forever and will meet you in Heaven. Dad, it's so hard to ever forget someone who gave us so much to remember.
