For the 2 and a half years that I spent nearly every day with you and Hannah, I would not change a thing. Both of you enriched my life so much. You treated me with respect and were always appreciative of help when you needed it. I have met some very interesting and kind people during our time together, and some very good friends. I thank you for that. I am sure that even though you are in a place where you can rest, you are still trying to "find a way to make it better" in your mind. You were like a grandfather to me and will be missed.

It was an honor to have gotten to know Edgar the last 2 years of his life. He was an amazing man. I enjoyed and understood his quirky sense of humor! I referred to Edgar as my little Sweed friend and I referred to myself as his Finn friend. I enjoyed getting to know and making good friends with some of Edgars family. Edgar has truly touch my life! I'll see you on the other side (heaven) Edgar! I miss you.

Edgar, I am fortunate for having met you. Though our friendship was brief, I can answer that I have been in the business for years. The business of God that is. I know from my time with Nila t5hat you are resting at peace in the presence of our loving Savior, and I look forward to seeing you in glory. I am blessed for having known you, and your family

Will miss you Edgar very much. You were like a rock for our family as well as for the snowmobilers of the world. I learned so much from you in the 36 years that I became and was excepted as part of your family. I enjoyed our talks we had the last 4 years of your life and will never forget that.

I love you grandpa, you made holidays so much fun. I remember when we would snowmobile together as a family and we would stop, just to enjoy the scenery. I also remember coming up to your house and I would always ask grandma, "where's grandpa?" She would always say, "in the shop." I would go to the shop and there you were always tinkering with something or other. Even though you were busy tinkering you still had time to teach a little girl Solitare. You will be dearly missed and I will smile when I think of you. I am proud to call you grandpa, our bodies fade, but our spirit lives on forever! Until we meet again, I will continue to share stories of my grandfather the entrepreneur.
Your granddaughter,
Michelle

Dear Hannah and family, Our deepest sympathy to you. I am so proud to be part of the amazing Hetteen family. I have many fond memories of playing with Nancy -and helping her develop photos of the snow mobiles for her dad. I remember Edgar flying down south with a new 'straw chopper' for my dad, Lloyd, to test on the combines. Edgar's name came up in a discussion with a local friend - who distributed medical supplies. I told of a relative who developed a special wheelchair for his mother. "Oh, you mean the May Chair?' Yes, I do. Well, we were a distributor in the area. Edgar, and his keen mind and creativity has touched many lives. He will be missed. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
Love, Patrick & Karen (Olson) Judycki

Dear Hannah, Don't know if you will remember me, it has been so many years since we have seen each other. So sorry to hear about Edgar. I will never forget the fun we all had in Thief River Falls back in the 1970's. I send you my most sincere sympathy and hope that your faith will help you through this trying time.
