Edward Anger, of Overland Park, KS passed away on August 10, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was 73 years old.

Edward was born on December 12, 1951, in Queens, New York, to Matheas and Judith Anger. He grew up in the Laurelton neighborhood of Queens and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1969, where he was on the swimming, baseball, and golf teams. He later attended and graduated from SUNY Albany. After that, his journey took him from New York to Los Angeles, then to Wichita, and finally to Overland Park, just outside Kansas City.

Ed valued being connected to his local Jewish community, and his involvement in both his WIchita and Overland Park congregations was a large part of his life. He enjoyed keeping up with current events and being politically active, as well as ritually watching major PGA Tour golf tournaments.

Ed was predeceased by his sister, Leslie Anger Gray, one year prior. He is survived by his son, David Anger and his daughter-in-law Julia.

May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
