Edward C. Hoffman, 69, of Ft. Thomas, passed away on Saturday, December 31st at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Ft. Thomas He was the most senior member of the Ohio River Launch Club, a P/Cdr of the Cincinnati Sail & Power Squadron, and a retired Pilot for B&B Riverboats. He was also a retired Research Chemist at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati. Mr. Hoffman is survived by his wife, Donna Hoffman of Ft. Thomas; son, Jack (Sandra) Hoffman of Ft. Thomas; grandson, Bentley Hoffman of Ft. Thomas; sister-in-law, Deborah Frommel of Wilder, KY; niece, Michele (Shayne) Pintur of Washington, D.C. and nephew, Michael (Kelly) Wildeboer of Ft. Thomas. A Memorial service will be scheduled for a date in the Spring 2012 organized in conjunction with ORLC. Memorials are suggested to the CSPS Education Memorial Fund c/o P/C Susan Durstock, 122 Crystal Lake, Covington, KY 41017, or a charity of one's choice.
