Elaine Christine Hayward

Elaine Christine (McClure) Hayward, 86, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on September 9, 2023, after a brief illness surrounded by family and close friends. Known for her love of animals and the Boston Red Sox, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Elaine's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life and not by the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her three children John C. Hayward and his wife, Sima Sadat and children Ahmad and Gina, Lisa Woodbury and her partner, Karl Shepherd, and Cynthia Horger and her husband Timothy Horger. Elaine is also survived by her three nieces Joanne Caldwell, Kaydra Hailey Johnson, and Leisha Hailey and by her extended family, Bob McPherson and his wife Heather, Lauree Dameron McPherson, Sue Dameron, Jake McPherson and his wife Cayla, Ashlee Perez and her husband David, and their three sons, Chance, Felix and Dax. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
