ELEANOR BELCHER Obituary
July 2, 2018
Eleanor J. Belcher, 77, of Springville, died Monday, July 2, 2018, at home. Her husband Matthew Belcher Jr. died in 2000.
Born in Kearny, N.J., she is the daughter of the late Herman and Rebecca Hamelton Schaepe.
Prior to retiring, she and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm for many years.
She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Nicholson and taught Sunday School at the parish. She also was a graduate of Keystone College, a 4-H leader, and a secretary for Eastern Milk Producers.
Eleanor is survived by two daughters: Mary Smarkusky and Teresa Flasher; two sons: Donald and Timothy Belcher; two sisters: Margaret Johnson and Paula Osborne; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass celebrated by Rev. Arbogaste Satoun will be Saturday, July 7, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 205 Main St., Nicholson.
Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Church or the Diabetes Association.
Arrangements by the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State Street, Nicholson.

To my cousins,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families. As you know, it was just a short time ago that my mom, Patricia passed. I pray this brings you comfort, knowing your mom is now with our Lord Jesus, our grandparents and all the other Angel's in heaven whom we miss dearly. The love for your mother will live on, in each one of you, your children and grandchildren. May God's full grace, peace and love bring you comfort as He holds you all in the palm of His hand.
