GALBRAITH _ The sudden passing of Elgin Arnold Galbraith occurred on Sunday, December 28, 2003. Elgin was born in Milden, SK on April 7, 1947. He graduated from Kelsey in 1967. While attending Kelsey he met his soul mate, Rose Grypiuk and they were married in June 1968. He worked with Westinghouse for 25 years and was presently employed at GMR Electric Motors Ltd. Elgin took great pride in his work and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football, hockey and curling. Elgin's family was very important to him and he cherished his children and grandchildren and time spent with them. Elgin will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, wife of 35 years, Rose; children, Dean (Annette) and children Samara, Raylene and Kayla; Bonnie (Curtis) Nieman and their children Jacinda, Kyler and Janae; Brad (Teri) and their children Ryshan and Rylan; his parents, Margaret (Cyril) Burrage; siblings, Dorothy (Bill) Peters, Dave (Lee), Loris (Bill) Greenhorn, Enid (Don) Dagg, Gina (Ron) Skorpat; and Brian (Patsy). His is also survived by is mother-in-law, Evelyn Grypuik; brother-in-law, Roy (Anne) Grypuik; last but not least his beloved companion Tuffy; as well as many nieces, nephews, coworkers and friends. Elgin was predeceased by his father, Elmer and father-in-law, Paul Grypuik. The Funeral Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family can meet with family for visitation and viewing one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elgin's memory may be made to the Saskatchewan Heart and Stroke Foundation. Condolences may be emailed to [email protected]. Arrangements entrusted to Park Funeral Chapel, 244 2103.
