My Uncle Emmett was always bigger than life to me. I remeber when I was younger and we would come from Idaho to visit Dawn and Emmett. I was just mesmerized by my Dad,James Riley and Emmetts stories of growing up in the Black Hills. We had the great fun to four wheel with Emmett also. He showed us so much history of our family in the "Hills". My sister, my son , daughter-in-law and myself had the blessing to travel to visit Emmett a couple of weeks before his passing. He still had that twinkle in his eye and that mischievious smile. There will never be another like him. We will miss him so much. All our sympathy Zane, Jason and family

I first saw Emmett on a riding segment on ATV Magazine Television several years ago. After discovering he was a neighbor to my wife's aunt(Carolyn Mauer). She lined up an ATV trip for us and we have been back 5 times since. Emmett was a very special man and I feel very privledged to have known him for the 5 short years we rode together.

Although we didn't know Emmett well, we enjoyed every time we were in his company. He was a delight to be around and we loved his stories. You have our sympathy for your loss.

Zane, Jason and the rest of Emmett's family you have DeEtte and my sympathy. I'm telling you what a thrill it was to have had the opportunity to spent so many, many hours with Emmett. He was great for all my family and they would not think of going 4-wheeling with out Emmett, what a guy and thanks for letting us share him. Ed Goss
