Eric Allen Pierce

Eric A. Pierce Age 40 years, of Hartland, passed away tragically on Friday, October 22, 2010. Eric was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Camille (née Lane), and a loving and devoted father to his sons, Jackson and Joseph. He was the beloved son of Barbara Woods and Allen Pierce, son-in-law of Diane and Greg Delaney, and brother of Amber (Dan) Kennelly, Dougan Pierce, Opal (Dan) Hoffman and Joshua Lane. His memory will be further cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and anyone who has ever known or met him. Eric, like all of us, was not without flaws, but never did he fear fighting them. His heart and his personality were larger than life. His creativity, his generosity, and his friendliness were, and are, without equal. He taught us so much and we will continue to learn from him even though he is gone. We will never try to fill the space he leaves in our hearts. He was unique, and he was ours. Thank you, Eric, for coming into our lives. To us, you were the man you fought so hard to be. We will do our best to take care of Camille, Jackson, and Joseph the way you would want us to. We will teach your sons how to throw a ball, take them fishing, and raise them as Bears fans. You will not be out of our minds and hearts just because you are out of our sight. You will be with us every day. We will always love you. In lieu of flowers, an education fund will be established for Jackson and Joseph.
