Erin Woolard Obituary
As an only child, Erin was very close with her parents throughout her life. Erin grew up in Rodeo California and attended high school in Martinez California.
Erin was selfless and a very caring person with a loving nature. She loved travel, despite not being able to do it as often as she wanted. Her first cruise, during her Cousin Lori's wedding in 2006, was the beginning of Erin's passion for travel.
Erin was an amazing artist; after graduating high school Erin attended Diablo Valley College and then the California Institute of the Arts in Southern California.
Erin's artistic nature lent itself to an appreciation of beauty. This in turn led to incredible taste in comics, animation, theater, and the written word.
Erin was prolific reader (everything from the latest and greatest fantasy, science fiction, fanfiction, manga, and comics), a fan of animation (particularly 1980s cartoons, Japanese anime, Disney, and the modern stop-motion animation from Lakia), and a theater nerd (from Phantom of the Opera to Avenue Q and Rent).
Erin was genuine in her words and actions. The truth was important to her, as was action and intention. She was also exceedingly empathetic and kind.
Erin believed in the best of people and her life was a testament to gentle kindness.
