Esther D. Busch

Esther D. Busch, 89, of Wheatland, Iowa, died Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home.
Esther was born July 4, 1914, in Clinton County, Iowa, the daughter of Anton and Bertha (Deininger) Wiebel. She married John Busch Feb. 14, 1942, at Kahoka, Mo. He died in 1984.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowden, with the Reverend Victor Young presiding. Vistitation is 4-7 on Monday at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Lowden.
She had worked at Oscar Mayer in Davenport for 23 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she enjoyed playing cards, traveling, eating out, and especially all of her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Rita and her husband, Roy Anderhalt, of Alden, N.Y., and Carma and her husband Merlin Conrad, of Bennett; grandchildren, Chad Mayerhofer, of Amherst, N.Y., Doug Mayerhofer, of Alden, N.Y., Curt Conrad and his wife Kimberly, of DeWitt, Iowa, Dan Conrad and wif e Bobbie, of Bennett, Jodi Olson and husband Lynn, of DeWitt; sister, Elizabeth and her husband Laverne Laschanzky, of DeWitt; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband brother Gerald Wiebel and infant brothers Edwin and Charles.
