Esther M. Faure Acker Landry

LANDRY Esther M. Faure Acker Landry passed away to her heavenly home on March 6, 2010 surrounded by her loving children at the family residence. Mrs. Landry was the first born to the late Arthur & Evella Faure in Mandeville, LA. Mrs. Landry was joined in holy matrimony to the late Hayward Acker Sr. She later married Clarence Landry. Mrs. Landry is survived by 2 devoted children Evelyn Smith (Marshall) of LaPlace, LA and Henry C. Acker (Nell) and 10 other loving children Hayward Acker Jr. (Vanna), Howard Richardson (Jan) Buckeye, AZ, Esther M. Carney (the late Willie) of Stafford, VA; Herbert C. Lopez (Sheila) Baton Rouge, LA, Estelle Burfict (Frederick) Petersburg, VA; Hiram C. Acker of Chicago, IL; Harry N. Acker (Cynthia) North Hollywood, CA; Sheila Williams (Alfred) Reserve, LA; Sherri Leopold (Reginald) Laplace, LA and Sylvia Pablo (Chris) Laplace, LA. 7 siblings; Augusta Acker (Bay St. Louis, MS); Laura Trueblood, Dona B. Torrengano (Mandeville, LA); Patricia Faure (Slidell, LA); Edgar Faure (Mandeville, LA) Leon Faure (Mandeville, LA); and Oliver Faure (Mandeville, LA); one devoted grandson Christopher Smith, 39 other grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers, and members of Genesis M.B.C., Beech Grove B.C. of Reserve, LA are invited to attend the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Genesis M.B.C., 1820 N.
