Mrs. Etta Daughety Pierce

Grifton – Etta Daughety Pierce, 83, formerly of New Bern, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at the home of her son. She was born April 22, 1929, daughter of the late George Allen and Delia Smith Daughety. She was the widow of William H. Pierce. Mrs. Pierce had worked as a sales representative at Wal Mart. She is survived by three sons, David Pierce, Roger Pierce and Buddy Pierce; one daughter, Connie Pierce Ammons; brother, J. R. Daughety; sister, Bobbie Jean Hirsh; and several grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Jesse Pittman officiating. Online condolences may be directed to www.pollockbest.com
