BRISBOURNE _ Eugene William Everard March 13, 1928 - January 23, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Eugene Brisbourne at the age of 79 years. Eugene will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by Pauline and their seven children: Greg, Bev (Roger) Davies, Joan (Grant) Jackson, Brian (Theresa), Sheldon (Corinna), Mark (Helen) and Kim (Jan) Stepkowski; ten grandchildren: Nikki, Brandon, Ryan, Bradley, Kevin, Trevor, Aaron, Shaelynn, Tierra-Lynn, and Jayden; and his great-grandchildren: Reece and Leah. He is also survived by his brother Ken; and sisters Sheila (Art) Liddle, Edith Bowman and Grace (John) Diehl, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their children all whom he loved. Eugene was predeceased by parents, William and Elizabeth and brothers Harry and Dennis. Eugene was born in Prince Albert, SK in 1928. He joined the RCAF in August, 1950 and married Pauline in 1955. He had an impressive career as a Pilot, Airframe Technician & Mechanic, Sergeant and Aeronautical Draftsman. He retired from the RCAF in November, 1970. His hobbies were drawing and oil painting, building model airplanes, mechanics and fishing. Flying planes always remained his passion. Eugene loved to visit with his family and share a lifetime of stories and experiences. He will always be remembered for his positive outlook, generosity, patience and kindness. Eugene will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We would like to extend a special thank-you to all the caring and thoughtful medical staff of Unit 82 at the Rockyview Hospital. A private farewell Service was held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. A Graveside Service followed at Cochrane Cemetery, Cochrane, AB.
