Evelyn NOVEK Obituary
Peacefully, at home, on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the age of ninety-one. Devoted wife of the late Maurice. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Richard and Maggie, Helene, and Robert and Anne-Marie Novek. Cherished grandmother of Adam (Hila), Jennifer, and Mark (Kelly). Proud great- grandmother of Lauren, Russell and Serena. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Pola and the late Edward Spiegel, the late Albert Spiegel, Sheila and the late Kenneth Spiegel. Sister-in- law of David and Vivian Novek, the late Ralph and the late Shulameth Novek. Evelyn will be deeply missed by her dear cousins, nieces, nephews, family, friends, and all who knew her. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to her devoted caregiver and companion, Lourdes Mayor (Lulu). Special thanks to the caring staff of Westmount One. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, February 21 at 12:00 noon. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at her daughter Helene's home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily through Sunday evening. Contributions in Evelyn's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's charity of your choice.
