How time can change our living space, health, and circumstances. My dear sister, Faith, is no longer with me in flesh but her spirit, love, and advice I have right here in my heart. If it is possible, I miss her more now that the first year of her passing, seven (7) years ago almost to the day. May she be entertaining all in Heaven with her smile, her singing voice, and her humour.

As time passes by, the heartache I felt when Faithie first passed away continues for me. How I miss the opportunity to talk with her, to share with her, to love her in person. These quotes help, sometimes ... "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die." (Thomas Campbell). "Say not in grief 'she is no more' but in thankfulness that she was." (Hebrew Proverb). My dear, precious sister, Faith Marcia.

Five years ago, we held a church service for Faithie. I play the video sometimes during each passing year. It seems that I am just now realizing that I'll not be in Faith's presence again. I miss her honesty and love. She was truly one person who let me know of my flaws because she loved me. I need her even more now. May she be singing and dancing with so much joy in Heaven. Entertaining and smiling forever.

Now four years have passed and I miss her honesty and thoughtfulness. She was my model for strength and acceptance. I miss my Faithie more and more as time is passing. Oh, how I'd love to sit for a while again with her.

Three years have passed and I miss you more as time goes by. I need you. The memories I have of our lives together do give me some comfort. I am thankful for the times that we shared ... they were the best.

During this time of the year, Thanksgiving, I think of my dearest sister, Faithie. I am remembering that she seemed to be "holding on" so that she could be with her family for one last Thanksgiving dinner. Indeed, her daughter (Dodie) and her granddaughter (Qiana) and her great granddaughters (Bobbie and Sydni) made sure that they included her in all the love and joy that this holiday brings. I'll always admire her unbelievable strength and perseverance in getting through this thing called "life." Most of all, I loved that she was always honest and thoughtful ... characteristics I continue to strive to have. She was an "angel on earth" and my role model. I MISS HER TERRIBLY!!!

Remembering the sister I miss so much. No one was more thoughtful and caring than she. Faithie will stay in my heart forever.
