It seems Faith was a wonderful woman not much older than my own mother Joan Faith Patterson (who was named Faith after someone connected to her father Roy George Patterson). I was so touched by Faith Patterson, even amongst a school of 800 girls. When I joined the school in year 7, in 1986, she knew all of our names. She had a way of conveying care, amongst the typical disciplines and regimen of school life. She was able to make you feel that you were significant and had your own unique contribution to make, and in that way I think she reflected true kindness. She touched me, and I will never forget the role model she was, it is instilled into me further because of the kindness she showed. A great Lady, may she enjoy eternity with her wonderful Maker, basking in the glow of His kindness.

We honour and give thanks to a wonderful educator and headmistress of 33 years.
She influenced many generations of women and made us strong and determined people,she opened us to opportunities that we would not have known, she was an inspiration to many.
