Mrs. Frances Brown McCurdy, 92, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Hospice Home @ High Point.
Frances was born in High Point, September 10, 1922, a daughter of the late Claude and Jessie McDowell Brown. She retired from High Point Hardware after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Lee McCurdy and several siblings. Frances was a consummate caregiver and asset to the community.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas McCurdy and wife Sondra of Cave Springs, AR and Timothy McCurdy and wife Ennie of San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren, Christopher McCurdy, Lindy Brooke McCurdy, Hannah McCurdy, David McCurdy, Elisabeth Watson; eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Oakwood Cemetery by Brother Jim Watkins. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont.
