CULMONE, Francesco
Born September 17, 1935, in Delia, Sicily, Italy. Francesco peacefully passed away in the loving arms of his family on January 10th, 2012, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Liboria "Lina" (nee Stagno) sharing 52 years of love and companionship. Loving Pa of Salvatore Culmone and wife Josie, Floro Culmone and wife Elizabeth, Philip Culmone and wife Rose, and Frank Culmone and wife Linda. Cherished Nonno of Samantha, Robert, Natalie, Frankie, Lauren, Nicholas and Andrew. Predeceased by parents Salvatore Culmone and Maria Antonia (nee Cumbo). Dear brother of Carmela Genoa, Grazia Strazzeri, Suor. Maria Luigia Culmone and Filippo Culmone. Francesco immigrated to Canada in 1962 and retired from Chrysler Canada after 30 years of service. He was a dedicated husband, father and nonno and had a special place in his heart for each of his grandchildren. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses on the 7th, 4th and 5th floors at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus, for their care and compassion. Visiting at the:

on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Parish prayers Friday at 4:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 9:45 am from the Banwell Chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 11:00 am. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. To the Culmone Family:
I am so sorry for your loss. My father had a room at the hospital down the hall from Francesco for a few weeks. Although I never had the pleasure to meet him personally, he must have been a wonderful man as his wife and sons were there day and night for several weeks by his side.
