FARRELL, FRANK E. The Rev. Dr. Farrell, Age 88, passed away on September 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 37 years, Marjorie in 2013, and his parents, William G. and Vera (nee Glanville) Farrell. Frank is survived by his daughters Arlene Ruth (Darryl) Winslow, Janet Mae Garrison and Nancy Garrison (The Rev. Dr. Del) Belcher; grandchildren Rebecca Lee (Daniel) Melvin, Bradley Garrison (Reaksmey) Winslow, Carrie Winslow (Jon) Baker, Jennifer Lee Morin, Stephen Bender, Del (Stephanie) Belcher, IV., Marjorie (Tom) Stemanski, Breaden Belcher, Audrey Farrell (Noah) Thorne, and Julia Belcher; great-grandchildren Margaret, Timothy, Abigail and Andrew Melvin, Ainsley, Reagan, and Harrison Baker, and Lola Mae Morin. Dr. Farrell, ordained in 1961, was a well known scholar, editor and educator in church history. He served as an editor for World Vision and Christianity Today magazines, and as a professor of church history and devotional classics at Simpson College in San Francisco, Nyack College in New York, and Reformed Theological Seminary in both Orlando, FL and Atlanta, GA. A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch and Sons Funeral Home, 600 E. Main Street, Brighton on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11a.m. with The Rev. Dr. Del Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Brighton. Friends may gather from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made in his name to the Benevolence Fund at Pathway Community Church, P.
