KLATT, Fred
On October 9, 2013, Fred Klatt passed away at the age of 87.
He is survived by his loving wife Alice, his two sons: Dennis (Rose) and Larry (Barb), Alice's children: Wendy (Bob) and Terry (Marian). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Henry. Fred was predeceased by his first wife Mary, eight brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Allen Gray Care Centre and the Grey Nuns Hospital for their excellent care in the past months.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, South of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

A TRUE GENTLEMAN AND FRED DID WHATEVER HE COULD DO HELP PEOPLE IN THEIR TIME OF NEED- SUCH AS MYSELF- WHEN I WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD.FRED AND ALICE WOULD VISIT ME,THEY ALWAYS HAD SMILES THEIR FACES,ALWAYS SPOKE IN THE POSITIVE WHEN YOUR DOWN AND THE WORLD WAS A BETTER PLACE BECAUSE OF ALICE AND FRED.I'VE KNOWN FRED FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND I NEVER SAW FRED USE BAD LANGUAGE,HE ALWAYS PUT OTHERS AND THEIR NEEDS AHEAD OF HIS OWN AND WOULD DROP EVERYTHING IN A SECOND IF YOU ASKED FOR HELP FROM FRED AND ALICE.FRED WAS UNIQUE AND DAM WERE GOING TO MISS HIM.TAKE CARE AND I'LL SEE YOU-UP THERE(I KNOW YOUR THERE FOR SURE)AND THANKS FOR BEING A FRIEND.DAN PEG AND FAMILY.

Dennis & Rose, Larry & Barb, Rick, Stephanie and families. We are very sorry for your loss. Uncle Freddie was very special to my heart as he was to whoever met him. I will always remember his laugh and his funny sense of humour. We wish we could of been there. I know my dad would of wanted to be there but unfortunately he couldn't. Our thoughts are with the whole family....love the Klatt Family
