I will always remember when aunt Gemma lived in Lewiston and my family would visit and Richard and Paul, Elaine and I would go ice skating on the rink near their house. Always loved to go there. I remember we went to Calif and surprised them in 1954 they didn't know we were coming. What a wonderful time we had. Even visited with aunt Alphonsine.

The end of a great generation. Aunt Gemma will be missed as I miss my dad, Vital her brother. For me, the end of my dad's (Vital) generation will be when my mother passes on.

Gemma, what a character! I will always remember her stories about the old days, when her boys played baseball and how life was growing up in Maine. Gemma enjoyed her last days playing poker at the casinos in las Vegas and reading her favorite romance novels. She almost made it to her 93rd birthday Oct 13.
Gemma was ready to be in heaven with all those who went before her. Rest in peace Gemma, your daughter in law , Nancy

Mom was always there for me. When growing up with severe asthma the many times I was close to death she was there by my side. Spinal menegitis, 2 times in oxygen tent, one time air escape my lungs, I was in a asthma home for a year my mother was there for me. When I was growing up my dad was sick and disabled, it was my mother who was working to help provide a roof over my head. Perhaps that's why I was there for my mother in her final days. The Lord was there for me also by my side. The lord was there for the thief on the cross, all the sins he ever committed ,he said remember me when you enter your kingdom, The lord said today you'll be with me in paradise. The lord was there for the thief on the cross. When Lazarus died Mary and Martha said lord if you only been here. My brother would not have perished. Jesus said I am the resurrection and life he who believes in me though he were dead shall live again. Jesus was there for Mary and Martha. It does not matter what you have done the sins you have committed or if you lost your way the lord will be there for you. I know he is there for my mother now. Resting in the arms of Jesus, no more pain and tears and be holding our saviours face. Robert
