Genevieve A. Beals

Brockton Genevieve A. (Caplice) Beals, of Brockton, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth E. Beals; loving mother of Gail K. Ulhman and her husband Peter of Bridgewater and Kendra Hesidence and her husband David of North Canton, Ohio; loving grandmother of Christopher A. Ulhman of Middleboro, Daniel M. Hesidence of New York and the late Sarah C. Moore; loving great-grandmother of Kathleen W. Moore, Dylan C. Moore and Zachary A. Uhlman, all of Middleboro. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lawrence, John and Vincent Caplice. She is also survived by a loving sister-in-law, Dorothy Caplice of Harwich Port; a special friend, Charles Sargent of Brockton; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Genevieve was born in Rockland, daughter of the late John and Catherine (McCarthy) Caplice, she attended Rockland schools. She worked at several shoe shops including ET Wright, Stetson Shoe and Strathmore Shoe. She was also the co-owner of Beals Transportation in Brockton. She enjoyed playing cards, arts and crafts, line dancing and socializing with family and friends. She was a member of several Bridge clubs, including the Candlelight Club of Brockton. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 31, at 9 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., Rockland. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
