Dr. GEORGE I. MANGOLD
Died September 28, 2014, at the age of 95 in Boca Raton, FL. He was the wonderful and adored husband of Pearl for 68 years, loving and proud father of Karen (Richard) and Robert (Joan), devoted grandfather of four, honored uncle, and friend to many. George was an osteopathic physician practicing in Manhattan for over 40 years before retiring to Silver Spring, MD and Boca Raton, FL. Happy in retirement, he pursued his many interests: cello, oil painting, travel, literature, and classical music. George always had a funny, kind, and friendly word for everyone. He was loved and will be missed. Services private. Donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
