Preceded in death by wife, Margaret E. "Peg" Reinhardt; son, Paul Reinhardt. Survived by daughters: Linda Reinhardt (Hap Hornbostel, deceased), Carol Burns (Bill), Mary Sorensen (Steven), and Laurie Martinez (Marty); son, Jeff Reinhardt; grandchildren: Jennifer Witthuhn (Chad), Lauren Burns, Kyle Reinhardt, Emily Reinhardt, Derek Reinhardt, Danny Reinhardt, Victoria Sorensen, and Steven "Drew" Sorensen; 3 great-grandchildren: Makenna and Kalia Witthuhn, and Kaden Sudds.
The family will receive friends Thursday, 5pm to 7pm with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Friday, 10:30am, St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 "Q" St. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. I was so sorry to read of the death of one of the greatest men I have ever known. You just couldn't find a man with more integrity and kindness than George. When I went to work at Mutual of Omaha in 1982, George was my boss and he was one of the most liked people in the company.

George had strong political beliefs and he had the courage to actively work for what he believed in. He was a veteran of dozens of Republican campaigns. It was George who first introduced me to the Wall Street Journal editorial page and our shared love of politics was just part of what led to a lifelong friendship. George and Peg teamed up with me for several campaigns and I will always remember both of them.

My sincere sympathies go out to everyone in the Reinhardt family.

Dear Dear Carol and Reinhardt family,
I swore I posted condolences last night, and apparently it flew to cyberspace . My Mom and I were planning to attend services and things unfortunately went south. You've all been in our prayers today and we were with you in spirit. Mike said the service was a great tribute to GEORGE and the Reinhardt family!
I attended Ruth Bussey's funeral Wednesday and Peggy O'Brien said they always walked to school together.
I mentioned that Carol Reinhardt was my BFF as well....drove down memory lane afterwards with fond memories of our antics on Spaulding and Ruggles Street. To quote my dear DAD.....
GOD LOVE YOU
BE GENTLE WITH YOURSELVES AND EACH OTHER IN THIS TIME OF GRIEF!!
