George Wayne Smith Jr. returned to his heavenly home unexpectedly Feb. 2015 in Redding, CA at the age of 41.
George is survived by his wife Carah Smith of Portland, OR, 2 sons Dustin Smith of Anderson, CA and Gunner Smith of Portland, OR. His parents George Smith Sr. of Shasta Lake City, CA and Rebecca Raya of Redding, CA. His siblings Amy Crus, Sarah Kent, Heather Cox, Bradley Smith, Kelly Lazott, Rhonda Hern, Daniel Spliethof, Kurt Spliethof. Grandfather Roy Smith.
He is preceded in death by his step mother Bea Smith, grandmother Peggy Smith and his grandparents John & Mary Myers.
His caring and compassion stretches far and wide as does his family and friends who will miss him dearly. George enjoyed hunting, fishing and making everyone smile. He will sorely be missed by all.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, Feb. 28th at 1 pm at 11952 Lavona Ln., Redding.
