George Tetreault Obituary

CHAMPLAIN — George Joseph Tetreault, 78, passed away in St. Albans Hospital, St. Albans, Vt., on March 7, 2007, after a brief illness.

George was born in Coopersville, N.Y., son of Ildege and Maria Tetreault, on April 4, 1928. He was married to Claire Irene Racine on Sept. 25, 1948, and together they shared 53 years of mutual love and respect.

He is survived by three children, Susan C. Griffith and husband Jerome of Little Falls, N.Y., Pauline A. Seymour and husband Daniel H. of West Chazy, N.Y., and James M. Tetreault and Tammy Mesec of Champlain, N.Y.

He has six grandchildren, Laurie A. Chriest and husband Andrew of Frisco, N.C., Shelly S. Palmer of Little Falls, N.Y., Brian M. Roberts and wife Debra of Ballston Spa, N.Y., and Cody and Chase Mesec of Champlain, N.Y.; five great-grandchildren, Zackary A. Sutter and Joshua J. Sutter of Chesapeake, Va., Jesse A. Palmer of Little Falls, N.Y., and Jocelyn M.C. Roberts and Jasmine A. Roberts of Ballston Spa, N.Y.

George was predeceased by his wife Claire in 2001; and his son, George L., in 1962.

Relatives and friends are invited to share a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary's Church, Champlain, N.Y., on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at 11 a.m.

Funeral arrangements are with M.B. Clark Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Mary's Church.
