GEORGE TRUEB Obituary
Born April 14, 1927 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Ralph and Anna (Bohmfeldt) Trueb.
George retired from Long Island Lighting Company (LILCO) in 1986. He then moved to London, worked at Madison Lanes Bowling Alley and became a member of the London Country Club where he also worked in the Pro Shop. He was a U.S. Veteran of World War II, serving in the Merchant Marines.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Ann Trueb; daughter, Laura Trueb; grandsons, Gregg (Cindy) Trueb and Curtis Trueb; great-grandsons, Gavin and Nolan Trueb.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; mother and father; and brother, Ralph Trueb.
Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, from 3-6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2017.
If they wish, friends may make memorial contributions to the Activity Fund of London Health and Rehab, 218 Elm St., London, OH 43140.
