OBITUARY GIUSEPPINA (JOSIE) MIRARCHI (NEE CRISPO) 1957-2008. Passed away in Montreal on July 24, 2008 at the age of fifty-one. Beloved wife of Ferdinando Mirarchi. She also leaves to mourn her children Domenico, Abby, Annetta; her mother, Antonia Crispo; her siblings, Pino (Anna), Rosie (Charlie Renda), Rocco (Mirella), Mario (Agata), Tony (Donna); her sisters-in-law, Lina (Franco), Antonietta (Nick), as well as nieces and nephews, friends and relatives. Resting at 4975 Boul. des Grandes Prairies, St. Leonard. Funeral service will take place on Monday, July 28 at 11 a.m. at Notre-Dame-De-La-Defense Church, thence to Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m., and Monday before the funeral as of 9 a.m.

Dear zia Pina, I miss you very much. I wish you never had to leave us. I remember you always calling me little beaver from the show "leave it too beaver" and i remember when we went camping I would always call you the girl with the funny shoes. I will never forget when you said you were going to come to my wedding because you couldn't make it to my confirmation. It's hard to believe now that you will not be there in person, but you will always be there in spirit and in my heart. Every night, i think of you and wonder why you had to go so soon. It's not fair, because you were so young and such a nice aunt who was always there for me and would always be the first to call for my birthday. I will never forget you zia Pina. You will always be my favorite aunt and will forever be in my heart. I love you so much zia Pina.

Dear zia pina, I miss you very much. I wish that this never had to happen, but then again we don't make the decision, God does. I wish he could have given you another chance because i still feel that it wasn't your time to leave us. I had such greatful memories the last 15 years that i have known you as an aunt. Christmas, birthdays, New Years, and especially camping. I was so looking forward to going again when you were going to come out of the hospital. Now i don't think i will ever go again because it would never feel the same without you. You were going through a lot of pain in the hospital and although we didn't like to see you in that pain, atleast we got to see you. Now we will only be able to see you in our hearts, but this is not goodbye forever because we will someday meet again, I'm not sure when but we will. Right now you are safe, with nonno Vincenzo in heaven. I am sure he was sad to hear you were going to meet with him, but now he is not alone and neither are you. You are in a safe place where you can rest and not feel pain. I still remember writing you the poem while you were in the hospital and you called me to thank me for it. Always remember those words, that we will always be here for you and will never forget you because you were one truly amazing person. I love you very much zia pina, and you will be truly missed by family and friends.
