1962 - 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of our dear and cherished Glenn on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the age of 50. Glenn was the beloved son of Michael and Georgette (nee Trudel - deceased); cherished brother of George (Gail), Gregory (Elena) and Geoffrey (Ron) and uncle to nephews Andrew, Adam, Neil and great-nephew Jacob. He leaves behind in sorrow but with many special memories, his Life Partner and best friend Randy Davis (Toronto). He will be sorely missed by his aunts, uncles and many cousins as well as his many friends and his co-workers from Aveda Canada. Glenn was the most kind-hearted and selfless person who always took more pleasure in giving than in receiving. He brought nothing but joy, happiness and laughter to everyone fortunate enough to have ever met him. While one of the greatest lights of our lives has been extinguished far too soon, he will remain in our hearts, our memories and will be loved forever and beyond. A celebration of life where family and friends may gather will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road in Ottawa, with reception following. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice in memory and honour of Glenn would be greatly appreciated. A private family interment to take place at Hope Cemetery at a future date. You wrote to me once that I was as bright as a star and there are no limitations to what I could do. This was the day you gave me my "turtle medicine bag" which is still with me, giving me comfort when I need it. You are an angel and you are missed by everyone. You touched so many people. I think the highest achievement we can have in life, is love. If you were lucky to have met this man, you would know that he was very much loved, adored and appreciated. My heart goes out to Randy and to Glenn's family during this sad time. I met Glenn in the 80's through Pam, who worked at The Bay. Glenn was such a happy and joyous person. I remember many hours of laughing and fun at get-togethers and group-camping, when he lived in Ottawa. His joie-de-vivre will be missed. Gone too soon.

I met Glenn back in 1987 when he was pushing Aveda's Shine and Indra products, Loved him immediately.. My heart is broken...Thoughts and prayers to his family and Randy. I will always and forever remember that smile and his golden heart.

I didn't know Glenn but I know his husband, Randy, and through his eyes and his deep loss, I've seen how their union as married couple was all about loving each other and sharing that love with others. Inspiring. Thank you Glenn for keeping Randy happy and on his toes in love!

Glen and I were great friends at Charlebois High School. He was then as you have described him today. I will remember him always.
