I still can't get used to the idea of never seeing you again, after our wonderful friendship which started so long ago in 1980. You are missed, on your birthday.

Only recently I learned about Greg's passing when I tried to reach him at his office I wanted to ask a few questions and follow up on a matter we had discussed about a few months earlier.
During our last conversation Greg told me about his upcoming trip, he mentioned he intended going to South America, I was happy to hear as I came from South America, I was keen to learn about his adventures.
I had no luck ringing his office, I thought to myself that it was a strange thing that his numbers appeared to have changed but somehow I had not been notified.
I thought that any notice announcing phone number changes must have gone straight to my email Spam folder somehow trying to make sense of it.
I did a Google search on his business number for any updates which took me to this page! I was speechless!, not knowing anyone else who could tell me how and where this tragedy could possibly come about, I have been in a daze since.
It has been weeks since and I still cannot believe this tragedy has happened, how, where, when??..
Only today I felt that I could sign this book and let his family know that I share in their deep sadness and sense of infinite loss of someone who was such an outstanding human being and consummate professional.
Greg Woods represented me in a number of legal matters, he was successfull in each and everyone of them.
He was a VERY VERY HONEST, straight forward person. Fair, just beyond belief, Greg restored my faith in the human race, literally.
I believe if there was ever an honest lawyer. Greg Woods was it.
Greg was a mild mannered, soft spoken, calm and collected, always gave insightful comprehensive legal advice and carried his work in an expeditious manner and answered calls whatever the day, whatever the time he was called.
To Greg's family , there are no words to describe how an outstanding human being and professional, decent, honest person with core values and decency.
You raised an exceptional son, done a wonderful job as parents and deserve our admiration.
I have a son too, my heart sinks when I think of parent/ child separation.
I cannot even begin to imagine your pain, but I can say that you will cherish forever the priviledge of having had Greg Woods in your lives for the period of time he was with us.
I feel priviledged to have met Greg. I will never forget his words of advice, his smile, I will always say that he was the best solicitor that ever lived, gone too soon.
He was unique and helped many.
Our deepest condolences, your son will live forever young in our hearts.
May you rest in peace my friend
Greg Woods, what a shiny star
Forever in our prayers

Thinking through all of the happy times we spent together over so many years, and finding it hard to believe that there will be no more.

During the most challenging time of my life Greg was my solicitor. He was so kind and generous with his time and advice. He always greeted me with a huge smile and handshake which made me feel human and welcome. Over the years he was always happy to take my calls and give me snippets of advice and I always thought of him as "my solicitor" recommending his practice to many people. He was more than a solicitor, he was friendly and kind hearted - which made Greg very unique in his field. Will miss you mate, thank you for helping me through the tough times; oh, and for that great win you got me.
