I've always been a great friend with Gary throughout high school. We had many memorable moments and fun times in and outside the classroom. Even when our paths went in different ways after high school, every meeting again reminded me of the good times we had. This will never change, and Gary's welcoming personality will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

I met Gary in Grade 7 at Colonel Macleod Junior High. I was really good friends with him for many years and my heart goes out to his Family and his Fiance.

I remember when we all drove from Calgary to Toronto back in the day. We were just kids and we'd argue and he'd joke around and tell me to call him mamaji but I'd be like "no I'm older than you Gary." We used to see each other a lot as kids but we haven't seen each other in a while now. Whenever we spoke though he had this positive energy about him and you just knew he was living life to the fullest. Mamaji, you'll forever be in my heart and mind. You'll be greatly missed by all of us that knew you. I can't describe how I felt knowing that you'd be gone forever, but I can at least find solace in knowing that you are in a better place because that's where people like you go.

My sympathy is with your family. My family and your family went through the same pain of losing a loved one on the same day. We lost a great mother, whereas your family lost a great son. Where ever you are Gary, may god bless and rest in peace dear. A Good Bye until we meet again!

I remember Gary, coming to our bhangra practices and just chilling out with us. He would always joke around with the guys on the team and tell us how we sucked and then laugh it off with us. He was one person that always told our team what he really had on his mind, never holding anything back. Gary always looked for ways to improve those around him and he was always on a quest to improve himself so that he could meet and exceed goals that he made for himself.
I will always remember your smile bro and the way we would joke at those practices you had shown up to in the last couple years.
My heart goes out to Puneet and the Bajwa family. The early departure of Gary is not only felt by you , but by all of his friends and those who he impacted in life changing ways.
We will miss you Bro.
May your soul find peace with God , and may you look over those who loved you so dear.
