Guy DEVEREUX Obituary
On February 9, 2019, as a result of a tragic accident at Kyeburn Diggings, Central Otago; aged 52 years. Much loved partner of Bex, loved son of Tony and Jane (Dunedin), and Diane and Brian (Wakefield), loved brother of Anthony and Nicki, Ben, and Henry, loved Dad of Jessica and Ted, Cristal, and Bonnie, loved Grandad of Nariah, Tyree, Lemarle, Teddie; Nikoda, and Leia, and special mate of Jordan, and Alex, loved uncle and great-uncle of Jake, Emma and Tama, Isabella; and Bran.

A service for Guy will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London and Whitmore Streets, Christchurch, This Day (Saturday), at 1.00pm. A burial will take place at Kyeburn Diggings Cemetery, Danseys Pass Road, Central Otago, at 1.00pm, on Monday, February 18. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Naseby Volunteer Fire Brigade would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Our hearts break for you Bex, girls and the extended Devereux family- your loss is immeasurable.
Guy was one of a kind- a hard man but with the biggest heart. It has been our honour to have considered him a good friend for many many years. Though good times and some not so good times. Guy was a loving caring young man, his warmth to his whanau and including his brothers was a joy to see. We knew Guy as a little boy zooming down Cargill Street on an early version of carts he had made, showing sign of his brilliant future.

To Becks and the girls and also Guys siblings and parents. Guy held a special place in our hearts. A true friend who was always there to help and support.
