George was a personal friend and friend of the Dept of Astronomy at Rowan University. He often gave special lecures to our astronomy classes throughout the 60s & 70s when we brought 200 students at a time to the Fels Planetarium....He will be sadly missed by the astronomy professors from that era. Thanks to his generosity we received an excellent educational experience. His love of teaching permeated each of our visits.
